Basses

Phil has a long and fruitful association with Overwater Basses. He has been a user since 1989 when Chris made him a matching pair of Six String Basses which Phil still uses. He even visited the factory during his honeymoon in 1990 (thanks Caroline!) for a most romantic interlude. Well the basses did need a service....
Phil's most recent Overwaters are a stunning matching pair of Jazz Basses, one fretted and one fretless. Both these basses use the John East J-Retro circuit, Bartolini pickups and Hipshot hardware.
Phil also owns two early Squier basses, a P and a J. Both are fitted with Bareknuckle pickups.

Amplification

Phil is currently using and endorsing the TC Electronic Rebelhead 450. Full rig details coming soon.

Outboard

Phil uses the Tech 21 Sans Amp Bass Driver for DI purposes both live and in the studio.

Effects include the Boss OC-2 Octaver, AW-3 Dynamic Filter, Bel Electrolabs ADT (he has three...), and the Visual Sound Volume Pedal.
